Bulbine frutescens is a beautiful flowering succulent about 18 inches tall and wide native to South Africa.  Most often planted in masses and used as a ground cover along walkways and borders.  Deer and drought tolerant this little plant is incredibly versitile.  It can be used across many different garden styles, Blubine can grow in various soil types, and has a long bloom period from Spring into Summer with striking yellow blooms.  After a brief Summer dormancy, it may rebloom later in the year.  It can take full sun to light shade and requires little water.  Hardy to about 25 deg. F.
