This little tree packs a big punch! Prunus cerasifera 'Krauter Vesuvius' has deep rich purple leaves and bright prolific pink blossoms in Spring.  This tree stays nice and compact with a predictable upright growth to about 15 feet tall making it an idea small accent tree for the residential landscape.  An incredibly versitile tree, it is drought tolerant, provides great fall color, attracts butterflies, and is cold hardy.  Purple Leaf Plum is also deer resistant for those of you who have problems with Bambi eating all your foliage!
