Bouteloua gracilis 'Blonde Ambition' is a beautiful perennial grass with finely-textured blades.  Golden wheat-like flowers come off the stems at an angle resembling a broom.  They look magnificent dancing around in a light breeze, especially when planted in masses.  Plant Blonde Ambition Blue Grama Grass in full sun for best growth results.  It is very drought tolerant and can take many soil types.  Native to many parts of the US, Canada, and Mexico.  Use along pathways and borders, in pots, in masses, and rock gardens.  Hardy down to about 5 deg. F.
