Bright and bold little grass. Acorus 'Ogon' has a brillient chartreuse blade with a cream variegation. A tremendous accent especially when planted near Loropetalum, Liriope, or Aspidistra. Although Sweet Flag blooms mid Summer, the flowers are insignificant and are bearly noticable. Plant in cool sun or part shade. Can do ok in 50-80% shade but will turn more lime green tone. Requires very little maintenance but needs regular water. This grass is evergreen but may go deciduous in cooler climates. Use in mass plantings or single accent. Sometimes called Grassy Leaved Sweet Flag or Variegated Sweet Flag. One of our favorites!
