- Incredibly tasty thin-skinend avocado. Holiday Avocado trees tend to grow much smaller than the Hass which makes it nice for residential applications. Plant in rich, well-draining soils. Be careful not to overwater. Make sure soil has a chance to dry out, then deep water. Make sure to plant in full sun. Fruit ripens in late Summer and Fall.
