Arbutus Marina is one of our favorites! A tremendously gorgeous tree with attractive reddish bark, whimsical trunk strunk and branching structure, and picture-perfect evergreen foliage. The Marina variety of the Strawberry Tree is appreciated for it's slightly more compact growth than it's sister, Arbutus Menziesii, which can reach up to 50' or more. This amazing tree's attributes consist of edible fruit, very drought tolerant, seacoast and deer tolerant, attracts birds, and can tolerate a variety of soils and growing conditions. A truely spectacular tree, native to Southern Europe. Hardy to 20 deg. F.
