Narrow-Leaf Chalksticks is a close relative of Senecio mandraliscae, or Blue Chalksticks. The main difference is the leaf is much more narrow and will produce a finer-textured ground cover. Senecio cylindricus, also sold as Senecio repens, will spread to about 2.5' wide and grow to a height of about 14 inches. Small cream colored flowers appear in late Spring, but the brilliant blue-green foliage is this plant's highlight. Plant in full sun to light shade. Drought and seacoast tolerant. Note that this plant may contain mild toxins. Native to South Aftica. Hardy to 30 deg. F.
PLEASE NOTE, ON ALL CACTI AND SUCCULENTS: WHEN SELECTING DESIRED SIZE, 6" POTS ARE THE SAME SIZE AS 1 GALLON. ONE GALLON POTS SIMPLY CONTAIN MORE SOIL. NOTE THAT WHEN EITHER SIZE IS ORDERED, WE MAY SEND OUT YOUR PLANTS IN EITHER THE SHORT OR TALL CONTAINER.
