A nice evergreen grass with attractive light green blades. Sesleria autumnalis stays in a clump to about 12 inches tall and 18 inches wide. A wheat-like bloom appears in Spring and may reach up to about 2 feet tall. The fuzzy flowers are still attractive even after they fade out in the Summer/Fall. Autumn Moor Grass creates a meadow-like look when planted in masses. Gardeners like this grass because it does not reseed, as well as tolerate various soil types and sun conditions. Plant in sun or shade and requires medium water needs. Hardy to about 0 deg. F. USDA Zones 5-9.
