Westringia 'Wynyabbie Gem'

Westringia 'Wynyabbie Gem' is an excellent landscape shrub which has many wonderful attributes.  It's fast growing, up to about 8 feet tall and wide.  It can be planted in full sun or part shade, and is wonderfully drought tolerant.  The beautiful gray-green foliage creates a dense upright form that can be left in a natural form or trimmed into a formal hedge.  Light lavender blooms will typically appear year-round under optimal growing conditions.  Coast Rosemary is a very fitting name in that it can also withstand seaside conditions nicely.  It is also deer resistant.  Hardy to about 25 deg. F.  Native to Australia.
