Aeonium haworthii (Pinwheel)

Aeonium harorthii, commonly referred to as Pinwheel, is a compact clumping succulent with many small rosettes.  It's a very hardy plant...great for the 'neglectful gardener'.  It will reach to about 2 feet tall and wide.  The leaves are a fleshy blue-green and come to a sort of spear-shaped point, but are not 'pokey'.  Mature rosettes may develop a slight pinkish tinge around the edge of the leaves.  Pale yellow flowers appearing in Spring may also have a pinkish tinge as well, and will typically reach slightly over the foliage.  Pinwheel will do well in coastal conditions and on rocky slopes.  Minimal Summer water.  Hardy to about 25 deg. F.
