Giant Chalk Dudleya

Dudleya brittonii

Dudleya brittonii is a small rosette shaped succulent with striking light gray, almost silvery foliage.  It will create a slow-growing mound of multiple rosettes but is most often seen as a single rosette.  Plant in full sun to part shade.  In hotter climates, protect from hot direst sun or reflected heat.  Giant Chalk Dudleya tolerates drought and seaside and coastal conditions.  In the Summer, it will sprout a small yellow flower atop an eratically growing lime green stem.  Hardy to about 20 deg.
